The Prairie Aikikai holds regular training on the following schedule three days each week:
Mondays | 6:30pm - 7:00pm | Focus Class |
7:00pm - 8:00pm | General Training Class
8:00pm - 9:00pm | Intermediate/Advanced Class
Thursdays | 7:00pm - 8:00pm | General Training Class |
8:00pm - 9:00pm | Intermediate/Advanced Class
Saturdays | 9:30am - 11:00am | Taiso/Weapons Class |
In addition to our regular schedule the Prairie Aikikai routinely schedules special focused practices. We also participate in seminars at other Aikido schools in our region, visits by guest instructors, and trips to other martial arts events. One positive outcome from the Covid-19 pandemic is that some special seminars are now being offered both in-person and on-line, allowing for either individual practice at home and/or training as a local group from the Prairie Aikikai dojo virtually on Zoom. Consult the calendar in the dojo, or talk with one of the instructors, for specific dates, times, and locations.
NOTE: This calendar is subject to change. The dojo is closed on national holidays. Every effort will be made to notify members via e-mail prior to a class cancellation; however, If you are unsure, please call ahead!

New students can register at the beginning of any class session. Students must be 12 years of age or older (or have instructor permission) to participate in non-Children classes. Registration is normally month to month, with special rates for multiple students from ther same, immediate family.
